LIVE England vs Bangladesh, ICC World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Match Score Updates: England's sharp bowling restricted the Bangladesh attack to just 188 runs in 37 overs. Recee Topley, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood, Sam Curran and David Willey clinched wickets in the dangerous bowling attack. From Bangladesh Mehidy Hassan smashed 74 runs and Tanzid Hasan played an innings of 45 runs.

The match is interrupted due to the rains as Adil Rashid was bowling his magical spell against Bangladesh. The ground is covered and it seems like the game will take a while to resume.

Reece Topley provided England with a strong start as he clinched two crucial wickets of Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das. Tanzid Hasan and Mehndi Hasan Miraz are on crease trying to stabilize the Bangladesh innings.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first in the hot and humid batting conditions at Guwahati during the second warm-up game. England's skipper Jos Buttler said he would have decided to bowl first as well, given the game could be shortened owing to rain troubles.

Defending champions England take on Bangladesh today at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. England's first warm-up match against India on September 30 was washed out due to rain after the hosts won the toss and elected to bat first.

Jos Buttler's England side will look to win their last game before the start of the marquee tournament when they take on 2019 World Cup finalists New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5. Before coming to India for the ODI World Cup, England had convincingly beaten the Kiwis 3-1 at home after losing the first match.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, are coming off a win in their first warm-up match against Sri Lanka on 29 September and will be keen to send out a strong message with a win over the defending champions.

Bangladesh defeated the Lankans by 7 wickets last week after their bowlers produced a solid performance to restrict their Asian neighbours to 264 all out. In reply, Liton Das (61) and Tanzid Hasan (84) provided a solid start to the innings and later skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz (67) and Mushfiqur Rahim (35) sealed the deal for their side.
